“It’s Saturday Night Live,” is a phrase we’re use to hearing on the popular day of the week. The voice behind the saying came from Don Pardo who passed away last evening in his Tucson, AZ home while sleeping. Pardo began working at NBC in 1944, was SNL’s opener voice for 38 of 39 seasons, had a stint on Jeopardy that lasted 11 seasons and pretty much worked until the day of his passing. Pardo and his voice will me missed. RIP! Hit the jump for more.
