The 2013 “Doernbecher” models are slowly dropping and become favorite instantly. The Jordan 3 version came out today, which people going crazy waiting patiently in front of their computer screen for this online only release. Now it’s time for the Air Force 1 to make its debut. This time around the kicks are not only hitting the web, but select Nike retailers. It’s an all white version that has line green accents on the sole and peaking out from inside. The majority of the shoe is painted in gold acrylic paying homage to Colin’s love of art, his name is also written into the design. Be on the lookout for these to drop on August 3rd. The Air Jordan 3 “Doernbecher” is set to be released again on July 20th. As in past, they selected a patient to design the shoe. This particular one was designed in part by Cole Johnanson. Not only is this shoe fly, but it’s pretty damn inspiring. The word “COLE” secretly spelled out in the diamond-grind pattern, with the words “Courage” and “Str3ngth” printed on the insole. It’s the 2 words that Cole say helped him beat his cancer. These exclusive kicks are for a good cause, so look past the type and don’t forget the real meaning behind them! Just a week ago, Nike announced they would bring back five classic models from the Doernbecher series. We find today that the first one will be the Nike Air Max 95 “Doernbecher” from 2007. They were designed by Mike Armstrong in a resembelence of “Independence day” with the red, blue and white colorway. Also, something I found very interesting and cool about the sneakers is that on the upper their are different words of emotion all over. The kicks are set to release on July 6th for $140 online via the NikeStore. New York, Chiacgo, Georgetown, Roosovelt Field, Portland, San Fransico, Dallas, Los Angeles, Lenox and Las Vegas locations will have them in stock.
