(Video) Talib Kweli Talks The N-Word & KimYe On The Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg Show With K. Foxx

That Talib is such a conversationalist. He dropped by Hot 97 and went over a category list of things. One being the “N-Word” (sacastically speaking). “Django Unchained” has everyone still talking about this. What I don’t understand is why get upset at a word that has been tampered with and that you now call EACH OTHER, as black folks? Like Talib say it’s the context of how you use the word. On to the next he also talks to the morning crew about his love for Kanye. “I’m happy that he’s having a baby with Kim,” Talib says. “Kanye talked to me about having kids a while ago,” he adds. The dope rapper who has an album coming out also talks about the name change of Mos Def, I mean Yasiin Bey. Drop down bottom and watch. JaaiR (JR)

Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” Beats Out The Rest With The Most Oscar Nominations

Besides “Lincoln,” some other nominations for best picture nominations were “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Les Miserables,” “Argo,” and “Django Unchained.” “Lincoln,” however took home 12 nods at the 85th Annual Academy Awards just beating out “Life of Pi,” by one. It’s being said that this year’s nominations came out sooner than expected, but I know that Speilberg is happy for that. “Lincoln” is a portrait of the great emancipator who abolished slavery and reunified the United States.” I will be watching come 1/25. Sacha Baron Cohen Was Forced To Drop Django Role?!

If you haven’t seen the highly controversial Django: Unchained yet, I suggest you do. Everybody that I know that’s seen it has recommended it and said that the movie was good. I never doubt Tarantino, he’s a film mastermind, and the cast is highly celebrated as well, but some big name stars had to drop out of the movie due to some scheduling conflicts. Take Sacha Baron Cohen who had to drop the movie for Les Miserables or even Joseph Gordon Levitt who also had to drop the film. Other stars who nixed the project include Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, Jonah Hill and more. Hit the jump for more. PaulDaPro

(Video) Samuel L. Jackson Makes White Reporter Say The N-Word !?!?

There HAS been a lot of controversy around the use of the N-Word in Quentin Tarantino’s recent movie, “Django Unchained.” So, when the reporter began to ask Samuel L. Jackson about it he needed to say the word. No, None, Never, or Nor is Not the word…you all know what it is. Jake Hamilton did NOT say the word when asked to do so by Jackson, but some folks are arguing that he should have said it and there are others saying that he made a good decision by NOT. I watched the interview and I honestly thought that it was funny. Samuel was clearly having fun with him, and some just didn’t get the joke. Drop down bottom to watch. Jackson’s interview is around the 13:30 mark. JaaiR (JR)

Kerry Washington “Nearly Lost Her Mind” Filming Django Unchained

Django Unchained has been a controversial movie from start to finish. From causing uproar over their use of the N-word to the crazy 8 months it took to put it together, it was a trying piece. Though worth it, as it’s been raking in some major bucks at the box office. Talking to the LA Times, one of the film’s stars, Kerry Washington, revealed the filming was so grueling, she nearly lost her mind in the process. It got to the point that it was so bad, she was reaching out for help! Details below. Marisa Mendez

Damn! Django Unchained Used The N-Word HOW Many Times!?

Well, the so-called movie of the year seems to be stirring up a lot of controversy already! If you haven’t seen the movie, I personally think it was great. Although, a few other stars will be banning the movie. Spike Lee already declared he won’t be seeing the movie (Even though he’s used the word in his own movies, but in your opinion, is it okay for him to say it?) but he also explains that it’s disrespectful to his ancestors. Then trouble maker, Katt Williams, already offered to give Quentin Tarantino the fade, claiming that Tarantino thinks he’s black (LOL! Hey, I like his Wu-Tang shirts) But Williams doesn’t think it’s right, regardless of if Jamie Foxx or Samuel L. Jackson has his back. But how many total times did they actually use the word in the movie?! See the interesting fun fact after the jump. Biz Baby
