YG Covers FADER Magazine Talks His Fallout With DJ Mustard And Details The Night He Was Shot

In an extensive interview for their 101th issue, rapper YG sat down with THE FADER to detail some of the tribulations he’s experienced over the past few months. The popular producer/DJ hosted a surprise give away for both Audubon Middle School and Gifted Magnet Center in Los Angeles to gift the students with brand new backpacks for back-to-school season. The surprised students packed in the auditorium of their school as they were shocked by Mustard’s presentation in which he handed out the backpacks filled with school supplies. Super dope move! Over the weekend, DJ Mustard made history at the BMI R&B/ Hip-Hop Awards. The talented producer who has helped create countless hits racked up a total of 12 awards during the show. Some of the awards he took home included “Publisher of the Year,” “Songwriter of the Year” and Producer of The Year” along with praise from some of his most popular songs including “2 On,” (Tinashe) “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” (Jeremih) “I Don’t F**ck With You,” (Big Sean) “Main Chick,” (Chris Brown) “My Hitta,” (YG) “Na Na,” (Trey Songz) “Paranoid,” (Ty Dolla Sign) “Who Do You Love?)
