MTV’s Hottest MC list definitely ruffles some feathers every year. What a lot of people don’t realize is that the panel of people choosing the ten MC’s only go by the last 12 months, not their whole careers. So, some of the greats may not be too high on the list…or may not even place at all if they haven’t garnered much of a buzz that past year. Kanye landed at number 7 for 2013, just behind his protege Big Sean, and he apparently wasn’t really feeling the spot. He called into Hot 97 earlier and went off while talking to DJ Enuff, and now two of the names he named in his rant, Lil Wayne and Sway, have reacted via Twitter.
