Fabolous’ song “So NY” went hard for the Brooklyn rapper’s hometown, but it came at the expense of some others. Name checking people like Diddy and 50 Cent for being both hardly home and hardly repping, he seemed to go the hardest at Lil Wayne for his recent disparaging comments about the Big Apple. Not only did Fab sample some of the audio from Wayne’s interview with MTV where he “flat out” said he didn’t like New York, he also used the reference in a hook, stating multiple times, “I’m so NY, Weezy prolly don’t like me.” When asked about the track a while after it had been out, Wayne said he knew nothing of it because he hadn’t heard it. Obviously, though, he’d been notified just by being asked the question. So, did he then go out and hear the song and feel a way about past-collaborator, Fab? Find out in the gallery! Marisa Mendez
Pusha T Speaks On His Newest Diss To Lil Wayne
The G.O.O.D. Music vs. YMCMB beef doesn’t seem like it’s going to let up anytime soon. The good thing is, it’s not the entire camps going at each other. In fact, everyone seems to be rather harmonious, it’s just Pusha T vs. Wayne, Drake and Birdman. Jae Millz actually jumped in at one point too, but we haven’t heard much from him on that front since then. A snippet leaked last week of a track from Ludacris’ forthcoming Ludaversal album, and it features Swizz Beatz as well as Pusha T, who’s definitely aiming at the YMCMB camp with his verse. “Now your crack swag gone ever since u came from prison. Got you tweeting all stupid, is you skatin’, is you dissin’?” is just one of the examples! In a new interview with Vibe, Push makes it loud and clear who that’s for (though it’s already obvious) and explains how it came about. Marisa Mendez
