China’s Internet Boot Camps Are Increasing At Alarming Rates

In 2008 China declared internet addiction to be a clinical disorder. Since then there are approximately 250 “internet boot camps” in China. Involuntary incarceration, behavioral modification and military style discipline are the many techniques being used to fight internet addiction. Spreading to South Korea as well as the United States these boot camps have been popping up at an alarming rate.


Teen With Sleeping Beauty Disorder Slept For 64 Days

Seventeen year-old, Nicole Delien, has a sleep disorder by the name of sleeping beauty disorder.  She literally lives her life in  a dream. She sleeps about 18 to 19 hours a day and once had a sleeping episode that lasted 64 days! She would only wake up to eat and go to the bathroom and go right back to sleep, without even knowing she woke up.  She takes medication, but it only helps space out her sleeping episodes and is always unsure of when they will come.  Because of her disease she has missed out many important things in her life including annual family holidays like Christmas. (Video) Anorexic Woman Bakes Cookies To Raise Funds

Camilla Kuhns needs $50,000 for a treatment and has turned to baking in order to raise it. The ironic part is that she is an anorexic woman that has been suffering from the disease for the past 20 years.  She weighs 102 pounds and stands at 5 feet 8 inches.  Although she is baking all day her meal only consists of cauliflowers with hot sauce and just one tablespoon of nuts, this is her daily meal and what she survives on.  She is hoping to raise the money and be effectively treated for anorexia. 1 in 3 Adults Sleep Less than 7 Hours
