Following their New Year’s Eve performance this year, the beginning of the reunion of Digable Planets has begun to take effect. This summer, the legendary hip-hop group will embark on a full tour throughout July and August. Most of the announced dates are in the South and Mid-Atlantic regions, with more dates (and surely an NYC show) TBA. Pusha T also joins the group on the last date of the tour. The single “Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” became a hit in 1993, breaking into the Top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
