Could you imagine being on a stuffy airplane, fastening your seatbelt, and taking off, then being told your flight must take a detour to accomodate a family who felt the in-flight entertainment was to violent for their young children 4 and 8 years of age. The PG-13 film Alex Cross was set to show on the flight from Denver to Baltimore, after the families request to change the film or shield the children from the screens, the pilot stopped the flight in Chicago citing “security concerns.” It seems the family was not a lone in thinking the film was too graphic for the young children, others on the plane agreed. The family was escorted off the plane by Chicago PD, they were apparently put on the next flight to Baltimore after being forced to de-plane.
