NBA: Andre Miller Says the Nuggets Made Him Look Like the ‘Bad Guy & Villain’

Andre Miller returns to Denver on Sunday for the first time since the Nuggets traded him to the Washington Wizards. And it’s clear he’s still a little bothered by how he left the Mile High City.

There seems to be some disconnect between the Denver Nuggets players and their new head coach Brian Shaw.  Andre Miller left the team unofficially, before he was traded due to a blowup he had with Shaw although full details have yet to be revealed.  Now it seems the rest of the team is pulling away as well.

NBA: Andre Miller Has No Plans to Return to the Denver Nuggets

We haven’t seen Andre Miller in a Denver Nuggets uniform since he was banished from the team after his public confrontation with coach Brian Shaw on Dec. 30. There now are conflicting reports about whether the two sides might put their differences aside and move forward with Miller on the court as a Nugget.

NBA Report: Knicks Interested in Trading For Andre Miller

The Knicks season started off pretty badly but the new year has produced good things for them.  Winning four of their last five games the Knicks look to be on the right track.  Still the team could use some tweaks with the injury of Pablo Prigioni and poor play of J.R Smith.  They reportedly tried to acquire Kyle Lowry from the Raptors but didn’t have pieces of interest to complete the deal.  Now they’re reportedly eyeing Nuggets guard Andre Miller.

(Video) NBA: Randy Foye Blocks Carmelo Anthony’s Game-Tying Shot As Knicks Lose 8th Straight

I know it’s still “early” in the season but when the Knicks have more player meetings than wins, it might be time to start panicking.  While I’ve noticed a multitude of problems such as poor defense, no ball movement, questionable rotations amongst others, the Knicks themselves seem lost as to how to fix their problems and get back on the winning side of things.  On Friday night in their game against the Denver Nuggets, it appeared they may have finally gotten back on track then in the final play with Carmelo Anthony handling the ball as the clock ran down and the chance to tie the game, he waived off the screen and went iso against Randy Foye.  Rather than driving to the hoop, Carmelo opted to back him down, turn and hit a fadeaway shot.  Foye rose getting a piece of Anthony’s shot, blocking it and giving the Nuggets the 97-95 win and the Knicks their eighth straight loss.
