Police Offer A Few More Details About Chinx’s Murder
As we approach a year since the untimely death of Far Rockaway rapper Chinx, his murder still remains unsolved. The NYPD know little more than they did at the time of the shooting, but today, they’ve announced they at least know a tiny bit more than before. Shooting down rumors of a drive-by, Lt. Rudolph confirms that they believe it was indeed a targeted shooting, revealing that someone walked up to Chinx’s car and shot him directly.

Back in 2015, Freddy Centeno was shot seven times by two cops. The officers claimed that the man refused to get down when asked and reached in his pants for what they believe was a gun. The family was able to obtain the body cameras that were on the officers. Honestly, the footage is truly graphic and sad. Im not sure one can watch it without cringing.
RIP: Former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Dead At 46
Former Toronto mayor Rob Ford has passed away at the age of 46, after a 2-year battle with cancer. In recent years, Ford became more infamous for being caught on camera smoking crack multiple while in office, than for his actual job title. He eventually went to rehab to seek help for his “problem with alcohol” for two months, then returned to office until the end of his term in 2014. That same year, Ford was diagnosed with pleomorphic liposarcoma, after a tumor was found in his abdomen. He underwent surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, but today, he has succumbed to the horrible disease. Ford is survived by his wife and 2 children. RIP.

In a heroic act of selflessness, 24-year-old Demetrius Johnson went into a burning house when he realized that his three children did not make it out. Johnson ran back into the home and saved his two oldest children, one of whom was severely burned and is currently fighting for her life. There was one child left in the house and Johnson refused to leave his 3-year-old son behind so he ran back in once again to save the toddler, but loss his own life in the process.
