Sabrina B. LeBron James got a standing ovation from the studio audience as he began his appearance on CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman.” And at the end of the interview, James even got a compliment from Letterman — who was not exactly a fan of his joining the Miami Heat to begin with.

In today’s NBA, players would rather be friends than rivals, which makes the relationship between the two former legends unique. As Steve Nash sees it, Jeremy Lin’s incredible path from the bench to breakout star is a good, old-fashioned sports story: an underdog athlete playing well, sparking excitement and leading a struggling franchise to victories.
