Collison was arrested on Memorial Day for allegedly roughing up his wife…well, he’s officially been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. This could lead to a year in prison.
Something must have been in the water on Memorial Day, this is the second issue of domestic violence that we’ve heard of with athletes. The first was the NFL’s Cody Latimer, now the NBA.
After yet another disappointing season in the big apple, the Knicks will once again look to improve their roster during the off season. Since they have no first round pick this year there will be no rookie the likes of Kristaps Porzingis walking through that door so any help will have to come via free agency or trade and the rumor mill is already going strong.
The Los Angeles Clippers picked up Glen Davis and Danny Granger midseason, giving them minimum contracts with a player option for the second year. Darren Collison was added as well. Each player added depth to the Clippers and are now expected to opt-out and seek bigger deals.
It’s still too early to tell but DeAndre Jordan looks to be a significant part of the Clippers success this season. While Blake Griffin considers “Lob City” dead, Jordan certainly doesn’t. Check it out after the jump.
