NBA: Pacers Trade Danny Granger To 76ers For Evan Turner & Lavoy Allen

Welp the trade deadline has officially past and fans were disappointed that there weren’t any huge trades, but there has been a last minute announcement.  Pacers have traded Danny Granger to 76ers for Evan Turner & Lavoy Allen, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.  Stay tuned for more details…


NBA: Trouble With The Pacers? Larry Bird Throws A Shot At Danny Granger!!

I was waiting for this to happen. Just a few days ago, Pacers president Larry Bird said the team has no intentions of trading Danny Granger, who returned to the lineup last week for the first time in over a year. During the time he was out, the Pacers became a dominant team and with the emergence of Paul George as a star player, people wondered what the Pacers were thinking when it came to Granger. Would his return make them even better? Or would the lineup be too crowded and he would be the odd man out and possibly traded. Well even though Bird said they aren’t looking to trade him, his more recent comments seem to cast a bad light on Granger. Hit the jump.


NBA: Pacers President Larry Bird Says He’s Not Looking to Trade Danny Granger

Danny Granger returned to action for the Pacers on Friday, playing 22 minutes off the bench in his team’s blowout win over the Rockets.  The Pacers are pretty stacked and are now led by Paul George who emerged during Granger’s injury caused absence.  How Granger will fare is still unknown but if he plays well and adds to the team’s championship hopes they can keep him or trade his expiring contract for more assets.  For right now they’re looking to keep him and see how he does.

Danny Granger has missed the first six weeks of the NBA season due to a strained left calf and Friday was a good day as he wa able to go through a full practice with his teammates.


NBA: Pacers’ Danny Granger Reportedly Experiencing Another Setback

The Indiana Pacers are off to a franchise record 7-0 start.  They have one of the most complete teams in the league and are doing well despite not having one of their stars on the court.  Before the subsequent emergence of Paul George as a star, the Pacers were led by Danny Granger, however knee injuries have kept him sidelined . Granger was expected to be back on the court this season and add to the already stacked squad but he’s reportedly suffered another setback.
