NBA: Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) First To Go On ‘DWTS’

The Los Angeles Lakers forward formerly known as Ron Artest was the first celebrity ejected Tuesday from the 13th edition of “Dancing with the Stars.” The show’s judges gave World Peace the lowest score on Monday’s premiere: 14 out of a possible 30.

NBA: Ron Artest to Donate ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Money To Charity

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl As anticipated, Lakers forward Ron Artest and U.S. women’s soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo will compete on this fall’s season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Despite rumors to the contrary Dwyane Wade is not part of the cast. Artest told the Los Angeles Times that, in honor of his daughter, Diamond, he will donate all the money he earns on the show to the Cancer Research Foundation.
