NFL Report: Tony Romo Expected to Miss 8 Weeks With Fractured Clavicle

The Dallas Cowboys have started the season 2-0 but they suffered another major loss.  After losing their star wide receiver Dez Bryant, they’ve now lost their starting quarterback Tony Romo.  Though he won’t have surgery on his fractured left clavicle, he will still be out a significant amount of time.

Last Sunday, Dez Bryant, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys broke a small bone in his foot during a match up against the New York Giants. Bryant was shown celebrating after the Dallas victory, but that was when team doctors thought he’d only be out 4-6 weeks. Post-surgery, Dez is expected to miss more than half of the season! One can say that Bryant is not celebrating anymore.

Dez Bryant broke a bone in his foot last night but that didn’t stop him from hobbling out of the locker room and celebrating as his Dallas Cowboys pulled off a comeback win over the New York Giants.

DeAndre Jordan is originally from Houston, Texas and had the chance this summer to return to his home state but with the Dallas Mavericks.  As you already know, Jordan reneged on his agreement with the Mavericks and instead returned to the Los Angeles Clippers in a crazy fashion that had everyone buzzing.  Though Jordan returned to LA, he didn’t turn in his love for the Dallas Cowboys and cheered them on last night on Twitter as they captured a comeback win against the New York Giants.  Unfortunately for Jordan, Dallas residents were not having it, and went in on him heavy!

The Sunday night game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys was everything you can expect and hope for from the two NFC East rivals.  Though the Cowboys pulled off the 27-26 win thanks to a late game-winning drive by Tony Romo, they suffered a loss in another way.  Pro Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant left the game injured in the fourth quarter.
