NFL: Autopsy Shows Jerry Brown Was Sober In Crash That Killed Him

This news just makes this tragedy even more sad. The autopsy that was done on former Dallas Cowboys player Jerry Brown after the accident on December 8th that killed him, showed he was sober. This is such big news because his teammate and best friend Josh Brent, also of the Cowboys has been charged with manslaughter in the accident because he was driving drunk that night. Unlike many people, I feel for Brent because according to anyone who spoke on his behalf, he is a really good guy that just made a stupid decision that night. It hurts even more to know he is responsible for the death of his best friend. The 2 players knew each other for years and went to the same college and was very close then as well. The only question is why didn’t Jerry Brown drive that night if he was sober. It is a question I am sure Josh Brent and others will ask themselves for a long time. IamJOE357

NFL:(Photos) Tony Romo Visits Children’s Hospital

I am a DIEHARD Giants fan, so it is in my DNA to hate anyone who plays quarterback, especially this Romo guy. But at times like this you have to drop your hate and show love. Romo took some time out during the holidays to bring some smiles and cheer to kids at the Children’s Hospital in Dallas. For some of these kids seeing him there was literally the highlight of their year, let alone Christmas. Respect to any athlete in any sport who takes time to realize who the fans are, and how much of an impact one little visit can have. Check the gallery above for the pics of the visit. IamJOE357
