(Video) NFL: LMAO, Dallas Cowboys Players Read Mean Tweets About Themselves

This is hilarious!! Members of the Dallas Cowboys including Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and more read aloud some not so nice tweets written about them during this past season and off season. For the most part the players seem good at taking jokes on them, but not Brandon Carr. He eventually rips off his mic and walks off. So Sensitve! Hit the jump for the link.

NFL: Jerry Jones Says Johnny Manziel Was Highest Rated Player on Their Draft Board But He’s Elvis Presley

Everyone watched in anticipation on day one of the NFL draft as Johnny Manziel continued to fall.  In fact he was falling in perfect position for the Dallas Cowboys to draft him, it seemed like fate.  Then it was the Cowboys turn and they passed on Johnny Football, shocking and upsetting many even Lebron James.  So why did Cowboys owner Jerry Jones go in a different direction?  He explains.

NFL: The Three Losses That Made Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Cry

NFL: Former Cowboys Player Josh Brent Sentenced To 180 Days For Crash That Killed Teammate

Former Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was sentence this morning to 180 days in jail and 10 years probation for causing the death of his former teammate Jerry Brown. Brent was convicted this past Wednesday of intoxication manslaughter for the December 2012 crash on a suburban Dallas highway that killed Brown, who was a passenger in Brent’s car. Brent could have been sentenced to up to 20 years in prison. Brent by no means seems like a bad person, he just made a bad decision. His alcohol level the night of the crash was 0.18, which is twice more than the legal limit in Texas. The Brown family has been very forgiving of Brent, as they have known him for years, even prior to being teammates with their son in Dallas. This is not the first time Brent was arrested for DWI. He caught a charge for the same thing back in 2009. I sincerely hope he has learned his lesson.

NFL: Terrell Owens Says the Cowboys Are Better Off With Kyle Orton as the Quarterback

Tony Romo underwent season ending back surgery leaving Kyle Orton to take over in his absence.  It’s a big blow for the Dallas Cowboys who will face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night for the NFC East division title and a playoff spot.  One of Romo’s former receivers however thinks Romo will only go downhill from here and the Cowboys are better off with Orton under center.

NFL: Tony Romo Had Back Surgery This Morning, Officially Done For The Season!

This is just in. Tony Romo underwent surgery on his back this morning and he is now listed officially as out for the season. This doesn’t surprise many of us, but the Cowboys were holding onto a slim hope that Romo could keep getting treatment everyday this week and try to play this Sunday in a win or go home game against the Eagles. Obviously treatment was not good enough so they elected to have the surgery now so he can be ready in full health for next season. Kyle Orton is now slated to start, with Jon Kitna backing him up. Kitna was just signed this week because he is familiar with the game plan the Cowboys will implement. The Eagles are playing great right now and this looks like it spells doom for the the playoff chances of Dallas.
