Last night in LA a man took police on a wild chase after taking a Corvette, but after the man crashes into another car and stops, police took no time in shooting him as soon as he got out of the car to run. Once shot the man did not appear to move after the shot, which leads people to believe he was shot with a gun and not a taser, but it’s still unclear.

Sold alternately as the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Opel GT and Daewoo G2X (depending largely on the market), the roadster as much about style as substance, and it was summarily discontinued in 2009 as GM’s domestic brands faltered.
