While Far Rockaway native Chinx and former Coke Boy affiliate Yemen were riding on Queens Blvd. this past Sunday morning at about 4AM, the silver Porsche they were in was shot up with a full clip, leaving Chinx dead at the scene. Although Yemen was shot in the back twice, he was able to survive the shooting. He took to his Instagram to post up a series of cryptic messages and videos which makes us scratch our heads and wonder. If you follow the Coke Boys movement, you will know that Yemen is notorious for sipping lean, getting high, and chilling with the CB rappers such as French Montana and Chinx on a regular basis. However, just a few days after the shooting, he kept talking about “fake” people Chinx had around him and even went as far as removing the “Coke Boy” in his Instagram name, changing it to just “Yemen_Time_” now.

Chinx’s Funeral, Wake & Donation Information Released
Far Rockaway rapper Lionel “Chinx” Pickens was tragically gunned down in his silver Porsche early Sunday morning, leaving behind his children, wife, family, close friends and a huge fan-base that has been die-hard fans of his music since he first emerged onto the music scene. His wake and funeral arrangements have been announced and are free to the public to pay respects, along with info on where to donate money to his family in honor of the slain Coke Boys artist. As we could only imagine, his family is devastated that they not only lost someone so dear to their heart, but also their main source of income, putting them in an extremely rough situation. They are asking that instead of sending flowers, money donations are sent to help pay for the funeral and to assist them in their future difficult journey without Chinx. The Hip-Hop community experienced a colossal loss this weekend after Far Rockaway native Chinx was gunned down in his vehicle early Sunday morning. His wife and mother of his children, Janelli Caceres, has been using her Facebook page to vent about the horrific murder of her husband of 13 years. There has been a lot of drama regarding Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Malika Haqq, reality TV star/model Erica Mena and tons of other girls who are randomly coming out of the woodworks claiming they had relations with Chinx. According to his wife, between the blogs and the hurtful messages she’s receiving, everyone is trying to become “relevant” out of this tragic situation but when it boils down to it, the only people that matter is herself, their children and his family and closest friends. It is still very unclear as to what exactly happened to lead up to Far Rockaway rapper Chinx’s tragic death this past Sunday, but his friend/Coke Boy affiliate who goes by the name T-Bird helped us to understand the events leading up to his death. Prior to the shooting, Chinx was doing a performance in Brooklyn at the Red Wolf, where the Irvington rapper met up with him. They took pics together right before the show let out, just minutes before Chinx’s silver Porsche was punctured with bullet holes. Just minutes before I went to sleep, the photo of Chinx and T-Bird was the last thing I saw on Instagram for the night, so in the morning I was scared that he was also in the car when I got the heart-wrenching news. Luckily T-Bird stayed in Jersey and was able to help us piece together more of what happened prior to things getting ugly on Queens Blvd. and 84th Rd.

It’s such a sad day as those closest to Chinx Drugz continue to mourn his death. Maino, Meek Mill and others expressed their feelings about his tragic death earlier today via social media. The latest rapper to react to the Chinx’s passing is his right hand man French Montana. He uploaded a picture on the gram, still in shock that he would ever get a call saying his longtime friend (whom he calls his brother because they grew up together) was killed.
