Opening Ceremony has announced that they will be displaying seven of Rihanna’s outfits in their flagship store. The exhibit will start on Tuesday in NYC and last three weeks. They’re doing it in honor of her recent River Island collection and also to celebrate her album release and tour. Congrats! Big Sean Announces A Major Move!
Congrats are in order for G.O.O.D. Music’s own Big Sean. As the Detroit MC gears up to release his sophomore album Hall Of Fame later this Spring, he revealed another major move today: he’s officially launched his own fashion and lifestyle company, Aura Gold! The clothing line coming out of Aura Gold will be named Finally Famous (sharing the name with his debut album), and will be introduced tomorrow at ProjectMVMNT in Vegas. “Launching my own label is a dream come true for me,” Sean said of the new venture. “Even though I have a lot to learn about fashion and the industry, I do know what I like and the small details that make something stand out to me. I look forward to evolving the line with more colors, fabrications and offerings to show the other dimensions of my style progression over time.” I love his fashion sense so this is something I’ll definitely be checking for!

Critics and London Fashion Week goers are slamming Rihanna for her River Island debut. Not only are Rih’s clothes not appealing, but apparently neither was Rihanna’s attitude. Rih showed up an HOUR late to her nine minute show, she wasn’t even an official part of the Fashion Week, and she technically didn’t really design the clothing line. Rih teamed up with Adam Selman to develop the line via email and phone calls then trying on samples when everything was done. Rih’s clothes have be described as “a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen” as well have having a strong nineties vibe to them. Normally I don’t really agree with critics since they can be too harsh for no reason, but after seeing these clothes I’m pretty sure they are right. Although some pieces aren’t bad, it looks like Rihanna designed a line that only she could and would wear. Check out some of her line in the gallery.

Super excited about this! I’m constantly checking for updates and now the line is slowly but surely dropping! If you remember, the line was supposed to drop of 12/12/12 but it got pushed back to tidy up some final details. But now? Thursday night, Karrueche Tran debuted her clothing line “The Kill” at Vanquish in Atlanta. She’s partying like she forgot about Chris! Good for you girl, make moves! Nicki Minaj’s Clothing Retailer Has Been Confirmed !!!
We informed you that Nicki was coming out with her own clothing line. We just didn’t know where her things would be sold. It’s confirmed that her retailer is KMart. This BIG name retailer is looking to have Nicki as well as Adam Levine (who also signed a deal with KMart) promote the department store along with their affiliated site, ShopYourWay.com to all of their fans via social media sites. Nicki commented on the merge stating, “I’m so excited to work with this iconic, mass retailer and to bring affordable fashion to my beautiful barbz all across the U.S.” The line will include accessories as well as clothing.
