Future And Ciara Will Take Care Of Their Own Wedding Plans Just Fine…

…thank you! While many in Future and Ciara’s position find it easier to hire coordinators to handle a majority of the woes, the two have decided that they will handle their own wedding plans. “Anything that concerns us as far as career, baby showers, pregnancies, wedding, having a baby, everything that’s going on, we’re focusing on it. We’ve gotta to make sure everything is up to our standard,” Future tells Elle Magazine. Well, they have a handle on things. Also, during a sit-down with the mag, Future mentions a fashion line on the way. Hit the jump for the deets.

Despite The Controversy, Jay Z’s Barney’s Collection Brought In Over $1 Million For Charity

Jay Z had only just announced his holiday line with upscale retail giant Barney’s this past fall, when the company was embroiled in a huge racial-profiling controversy. After a couple weeks of radio silence, Hov finally addressed the situation, as many were urging him to back out of the deal. In a statement, the hip-hop mogul said he wouldn’t “prematurely pull out” of the collab until he knew all of the facts, adding, “I am against discrimination of any kind, but if I make snap judgements, no matter who it’s towards, aren’t I committing the same sin as someone who profiles?” In the end, Hov stuck with Barney’s, and reconfigured the deal so that 100% of the profits would go to his charity, The Shawn Carter Foundation, rather than the initial 25% originally agreed upon. He also helped created a council at Barney’s “specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling.” Though reports of holiday sales are still being tallied, sales for the line’s six-week run have surpassed the $1 million mark as of Friday. All profits from the sale of the goods went to the foundation, and Barneys also pledged 10% of its entire store’s profits from the first day the items went on sale. Awesome!

Months back, Big Sean mentioned that he’d be starting a line of clothing, and from here, it looks as if things are doing pretty well. The casual ensemble, that consists of tanks, t-shirts, jackets and hoodies is a part of, Finally Famous, The Black Collection I Fall 2013 from Aura Gold. The collection is described as, “monochromatic blacks, heather grays, and charcoals brought together by a subtle cotton, leather, and nylon fabrics.” It’s pretty cool too. I think this will turn into a very lucrative opportunity for the, “Beware” rapper. CONGRATULATIONS! Hit the jump and take a peek.

Did Kanye Approve This?! Kim Kardashian May Use Baby North’s Face For What?!

In unsurprising news, Kim Kardashian may be launching a children’s clothing line, inspired by her very own baby girl, North West. The business mogul’s friend Lloyd Klein dropped the details, saying that baby North will be a “great poster child.” But will Yeezy necessarily approve of that? I don’t see that happening! “I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies,” Klein told Confidenti@l in L.A. “It is very cute to design for babies. [It would be] soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy.” It seems like he’s still speculating for now, so we’ll see!
