It’s been over a year since the shooting death of 12 year-old Tamir Rice and Monday (December 28th) an Ohio grand jury has decided that the officer involved in the incident will not face charges. The decision came after a drawn out investigation, that concluded the shooting was “reasonable” as the officer who killed Tamir Rice, while he was holding a toy gun, believed he was facing a threat. Prosecutor Tim McGinty, spoke about the grand jury’s decision and called what happened to Tamir Rice and his family “absolute tragedy.” He continued, “But it was not, by the law that binds us, a crime.” Read more below.
Nas To Produce Soundtrack For Cleveland Film ‘The Land’ (Starring MGK, Erykah Badu + More)
Nas has been tapped as the executive producer of Steve Caple Jr.‘s forthcoming film The Land, as well as the curator to its soundtrack. Per the press release, The Land “follows four teenage boys who pursue professional skateboarding as a way escaping the streets of Cleveland, only to get caught up with a local drug queen-pin.” Its stars include Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly, as well as Erykah Badu, Michael K. Williams, Kim Coates and more.

After a few spottings of the pair together in NYC (where MGK was for the last month to film his latest movie,) the new couple were spotted yesterday afternoon in his hometown of Cleveland! Taken by a shopper’s cell phone, Amber and the Bad Boy rapper were photographed in a women’s store in Beachwood Mall, looking pretty cozy together as they held hands and shopped around.
