Derek Fisher is making quite the name for himself and it’s not a good one. Earlier today I posted a photo showing him going on vacation with Gloria Govan and her family for her birthday. The same Gloria who was married to Matt Barnes, and the same Matt who beat Fisher’s a**. Now there are rumors that Fisher also messed around with the same women his players on the Knicks dated.

It once again sheds light on how athletes and entertainers are targets when they step out when they are just trying to have a good night. It also sparked another conversation on gun control in which Early’s teammate Carmelo Anthony spoke his peace.

New York Knicks forward Cleanthony Early was shot after leaving CityScapes gentelmen’s club in Queens, NY. Early called an Uber which was later surrounded by three cars, then six masked gunmen robbed Early of his cash, jewelry, and gold teeth then shot him in the knee. The Uber driver nor the woman he was with whom is being described as his girlfriend were hurt. Many believe it was a set up with both the driver and his “girlfriend” being informally accused. The Uber driver was officially ruled out as a suspect. Now the woman he was with him,Iliani Douge, is speaking out about the incident.

Knicks forward Cleanthony Early was robbed and shot after leaving CityScapes gentlemen’s club in Queens, NY early this morning. Early didn’t have life threatening injuries but there are concerns about the extent of the damage done to his knee (where he was shot). Many people are sending out their prayers, there are also a lot of people berating Early for going to the strip club unaccompanied by security and for those of us that live in New York, we know it’s not exactly a safe area, it’s pretty remote. J.R. Smith was teammates with Early on the Knicks before getting traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Smith himself is VERY well experienced with fans criticizing his partying. J.R. took to his Twitter account and defended Early.

Possibly the biggest steal of the draft, Anthony had top 10 talent in the NBA draft and slid all the way to pick 34 with the Knicks. Anthony who is from New York himself was happy as can be when he was selected by the hometown team. Now the Knicks are happy as can be with his performance in the NBA summer league.
