1,600 People Killed In Deadliest Week Of Syrian Civil War

At least 1,600 people were killed this past week during what is being recorded as the deadliest week of the Syrian civil war, thus far. The violence in Syria has been due to an 18-month-uprising against the government and there seems to be no let up anytime soon. The government of Bashar al-Assad’s attempts to suppress the uprising and remain in power has let to continuous bloodshed throughout the country leaving 5,000 people dead in the month of August alone. Protesting in Iran might lead to Civil War

@klassic_p An Iranian supporter of the country’s opposition movement has warned that continued anti-government street protests could lead to civil war. The woman, a 34-year-old jewelry designer who lives in Tehran, issued the warning in a series of emailed answers to questions put to her by CNN.
