Cinco de Mayo was originally a holiday to celebrate “The Day of the Battle of Puebla” in the Puebla state of Mexico. Contrary to popular belief, today is not Mexican Independence Day and in fact Cinco de Mayo is celebrated more in the United States than in Mexico. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
