As Saturday Night Live enters its 40th season this fall, the show’s most tenured African-American cast member has made plans for it to be his last. After 12 seasons on SNL, Kenan Thompson will be reportedly moving to Los Angeles with his wife Christina and their newborn, and has plans for a new TV show. He’d previously planned to leave after last season and work on a sitcom, but nixed the idea after SNL‘s producer, Lorne Michaels, asked him to stay on. On Friday, 11.11.11, actor/comedian Kenan Thompson wed his longtime girlfriend, model Christina Evangeline at the Arctic Room of the Georgia Aquarium in ATL. I was actually supposed to be there but missed my flight…go me. Smh! I lived vicariously through the tweets and pictures though, and it was truly a beautiful ceremony!
