50 Cent talked to “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” about the type of women he likes, his interview with Oprah Winfrey, and if things are still all good with his bestie Floyd Mayweather after being released from prison. Rumor was that the two were beefing over Floyd’s fiancee Shantel Jackson. 50 Cent also talked about attending the funeral of his former manager Chris Lighty and many noticed that there was no tension between him and Fat Joe, despite their years of beef. Services were held for Chris Lighty this morning in his city of New York. Fox 5/Hot 97’s Lisa Evers was in attendance, and sent us this report from the scene:
Maino and other mourners outside Frank E Campbell Funeral Home in Manhattan…I saw 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Wyclef, Busta Rhymes and Q Tip among many otners going in to wake and service.
Happy to see so many are showing love to such an important man! You will be sorely missed, Chris!
Chris Lighty’s Wife Veronica Lighty Speaks Out For The First Time…With Some Major Updates!
Music mogul Chris Lighty unfortunately passed away last week, in what cops ruled a suicide until further investigation. Reports surfaced after that he’d just gotten in a fight with his ex-wife Veronica, who’d filed for divorce from Chris in late 2011. There were also reports that he was currently in millions of dollars of debt to the IRS. Apparently, both reports aren’t completely true. We later found out that his debt was only a couple hundred thousand, chump change to the man that helped broker 50 Cent’s $100 million Vitamin Water deal, amongst SO many other things. Now Veronica has spoken out for the first time, and guess what…their divorce was OFF as of Father’s Day! So they were together!
