There are so many aspects to this dunk that make it great. Â All basketball enthusiasts know that Jordan and the Bulls killed Knicks chanpionship dreams during the 90’s. Â Though we took some L’s this dunk was purely gratifying. It was during the 1993 playoffs towards the end of the game and it nearly pushed the Bulls towards the brink of elimination. Â Starks a right-handed player threw down a left-handed dunk over Horace Grant and Michael Jordan. Â Since then there’s been some discrepancy on whether Starks actually dunked on Jordan. Even if you were too young to watch it when it actually aired, you should still know about “The Shot”. Â It’s the shot Michael Jordan took in Game 5 of the 1989 Eastern Conference First Round against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Â The Bulls were the underdogs during this time after being swept by the Cavs 6-0 during the regular season. Â Jordan broke free of the double team by Craig Ehlo and Lance Nance to inbound the ball from Brad Sellers, he then hit a jumper over Ehlo’s extended arm from the free-throw line at the buzzer to win the game 101-100. Â It was Jordan’s first of many game winning shots to come and the start of many disappointments coming Cleveland’s way.
