Late last night (or early this morning, depending upon your location) the moon was completely crimson, a rare occurrence called a “Blood Moon” that’s part of a lunar eclipse “tetrad:” a series of four consecutive total lunar eclipses that happen at about six-month intervals. If you missed it, though – don’t worry! Scientists say that the moon will glow red three more times over the next year and a half: October 8th of 2014 and April 4th and September 28th of 2015. Reactions to the Blood Moon were pretty hilarious on Twitter as it was going on. YG fans had fun with the “blood” idea (see above – LOL!) while Weezy didn’t know what was going on, Wiz was thinking of coyotes and Miley was seeing diamonds. A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck the greater Los Angeles area this morning, and though there have been no reports of damage or injuries, it definitely shook residents up!
