I think maybe Jada is going through some things. Then again, a majority of the Smith family (namely their daughter Willow) tend to be pretty eclectic with their hair/fashion choices, so maybe Jada’s just trying new things? Either way, her wedding ring was noticeably absent when she debuted her new ‘do at the ‘Make Equality Reality’ event in Beverly Hills yesterday, as was her husband, Will. The pair have been surrounded in rumors regarding a troubled marriage for at least two years now, so could this be a message? It may be nothing, though. Who knows! During her performance at BET’s Black Girls Rock on Sunday, the powerhouse diva debuted a new short ‘do, a vast contrast to the long locks she’s sported for years now. Lil Wayne is currently out in Miami enjoying some time at home before he leaves for his European tour next week, and today had a photo shoot there for the upcoming Holiday 2013 collection for his clothing line, Trukfit. In a series of photos and video posted by his manager Cortez Bryant from the set and from earlier in the day, it appears that Tunechi’s dreads are quite a bit shorter than they’ve been as of late (photo in the gallery for comparison.) Could just be the way they’re sitting, but I can’t really think of a way for hair to sit to make it that drastically different. Maybe it’s tied up under the hat and only part is hanging down?
