Cecil Singleton was named as the SECOND guy to come forward in this “Kevin Clash/Elmo Scandal.” Cecil filed suit against Kevin Clash for 5MiL, saying that in 1993, Kevin found him on a phone chatline for gay guys and then had sex with him. The original court documents for the suit said that this incident happened in 1993 when Singleton was 16 and Clash was 30. Re-filing of court documents says that it was in 2003. “Typo,” says Cecil. Sesame Street released a statement, “Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding Kevin’s personal life has become a distraction that none of us want, and he has concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job and has resigned from Sesame Street.” I know this man is stressed out.
