Autopsy Results For Shawty Lo Are In…

Shawty Lo died late Tuesday night in a car accident, after he lost control of the wheel while driving home from a night out. The car hit the guardrail and then some trees, and the rapper was ejected from the vehicle upon impact. There were two female passengers, but police have confirmed they were not seriously hurt.


New Report Says Prince Died Of Opioid Overdose

According to the newspaper from Prince’s hometown, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the iconic singer’s exact cause of death was an opioid overdose. They cited a source familiar with the investigation. The day before Prince died, his team called an opioid addiction specialist in California for “urgent” help, according to an attorney working for the specialist. Federal prosecutors and the Drug Enforcement Administration are investigating how Prince obtained prescription medications and from whom. RIP, Prince.


It May Be Weeks To Get Prince’s Cause Of Death

On Friday morning, the coroner’s office began the four-hour autopsy on Prince, but results from the exam won’t be disclosed until toxicology results come back. This could take several weeks. They’re also collecting his medical records, as well as family medical history to complete their investigation.


More Details Released Surrounding Prince’s Death

Earlier today, the legendary Prince was found dead at the age of 57. While details as to a cause are still unknown, the Carver County Sheriff’s office has given a bit more insight as to the series of events that occurred this morning. “Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson reports that on April 21, 2016, at about 9:43 am, sheriff’s deputies responded to a medical call at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen,” they said in a newly-released statement. “When deputies and medical personnel arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male in the elevator. First responders attempted to provide lifesaving CPR, but were unable to revive the victim. He was pronounced deceased at 10:07 am. He has been identified as Prince Rogers Nelson (57) of Chanhassen.”
