Controversial, Leaked N. W. A. Casting Call Gains Criticism, Agency Releases Statement
As the N.W.A bio pic production comes into full swing, a recently released casting call through Sande Alessi Casting has raised eyebrows after displaying negative racist requests, for the upcoming roles in the film. The agency is admitting that the call was an ‘innocent mistake’ and have confirmed that they are looking into the casting of various skin types for the ‘poor’ characters in the film to which was open solely to ‘African American Girls’ who were ‘out of shape’ with ‘medium to dark skin tone’.
