Don’t people know better than to sign to Cash Money at this point? Look at what it did for Bow WowKhaledBusta RhymesMystikal…Christina Milian…Jay Sean…Austin Mahone…Young Thug… That’s right – absolutely nothing! Producers who work with the label don’t get paid, hell – even their star artists don’t get paid! Really and truly, who in their right mind would sign with this label in 2016? Well apparently, AR-Ab and Compton Menace. The news was announced via IG earlier this week. If you’ll recall, Philly-based AR-Ab made headlines last summer when Drake mentioned him in his Meek Mill diss, “Back To Back.” And if you know nothing about Compton Menace’s music, you may recognize him as the gang member from Straight Outta Compton that brought the gun on the school bus in the movie’s opening scene. Congrats I guess. Or maybe good luck?

He also went in to how the record label he started on, Cash Money, had him and his artists record their songs and the “approval” they had to go through before being done writing a verse, during the classic Hot Boys era.
