Last month, the cat was let out of the bag on Keyshia Cole and Birdman’s relationship, after Keyshia was arrested for attacking a woman she’d found in Birdman’s L.A. home during the early hours of the morning. Turns out, though, the woman was a longtime employee of Birdman’s, which made Keyshia’s insane attack a bit more ridiculous. Now Sabrina Mercadel has filed court documents accusing the Oakland native of punching her in the face, slashing her with fingernails and throwing objects at her, adding that her neck and back were hurt in the melee, and that her finger may be permanently damaged. She has requested and been granted a restraining order, which requires Keyshia to stay 100 yards away and prohibits any contact. Hopefully no lawsuit stems from this!
Boy-oh-boy, it wouldn’t be a day in entertainment news without a lawsuit. This go ’round involves Cash Money and producer Jas Prince, former fiancé to Christina Milian. Lil Wayne’s record label is blasting Christian Milian’s ex-fiance Jas Prince, saying his claim that he is owed $4 million dollars from Drake’s royalties is nonsense and they don’t owe him any money — theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports. Earlier this year, Jas Prince filed a federal lawsuit against Cash Money Records claiming that they had owed him $4 million from the royalties accumulated thanks to Drake. Well, Cash Money is not having none of that IOU talk – the label says that they don’t owe a thing. Hit the jump for the details.
With the Rich Gang mixtape dropping later today, Birdman drops a new visual for his joint “Ridin” featuring Young Thug & Yung Ralph. Take a look at the video after the jump!
Cash Money co- founder Mannie Fresh, has taken to his latest interview with Complex, to discuss the rise of Cash Money Records. Fresh described the transition the label made from ‘Bounce’ Music to rap, while developing artists such as Juvenile, Lil Wayne and B.G.
Uh Oh! The woman who Keyshia Cole assaulted on Friday morning has finally spoken. Sabrina Mercadel claims not to have been the only one in the apartment that night. She is completely baffled as to why Keyshia Cole attacked her. Mercadel has been a Cash Money employee for 10 plus years, since the incident, she has been sent to the Emergency Room, and put on pain medication.
