(Photos) Lil Wayne Makes His Position Loud And Clear

Amidst all of the beef and the drama with Cash Money and Birdman, Lil Wayne took to Twitter today to make his stance clear. Last week, Tunechi shocked the world when he revealed that he and Birdman were no longer seeing eye to eye after nearly two decades working together, and that Tha Carter V was basically being held hostage. Since his announcement a week ago now, Wayne had not tweeted until last night, when it was simply a sports related reference. However, he did make mention of the situation last Friday during a performance in Brooklyn for VICE’s 20th anniversary, saying that he was “f*cked up in a bad situation, but I will be out of it soon.”

(Video) Tyga Reveals More Info About His Situation With YMCMB

The Tyga vs. YMCMB beef isn’t stopping any time soon. Let’s recap the situation thus far: Tyga signed to Young Money in 2008 and went on to have a successful career with Lil Wayne and co., particularly after his 2011 hit, “Rack City.” Everything seemed harmonious in the crew, as they often came together for collabs on compilation albums like We Are Young Money and Rich Gang, but all that came to a grinding halt about 2 months ago. Frustrated that his label had yet to give him a release date on his oft-delayed The Gold Album, Tyga took to Twitter and aired out all of his dirty laundry, revealing he wants OFF YMCMB for good. He later elaborated in an interview with VIBE Magazine, explaining that he feels he’d outgrown the label and most of the people on it (like Nicki Minaj and Drake,) and sticking around just for Wayne just wasn’t conducive to a successful career.

(Video) Update: Wayne’s Manager Speaks; Lil Wayne Says He’s Getting Out Of Cash Money Soon!!

Lil Wayne Says He’s Getting Out Of Cash Money: Update; Tunechi’s managaer Cortez caller into TMZ and said he was being ‘sarcastic’, looks like we have a problem Houston… Lil Wayne hit the stage at the Vice’s 20th anniversary party and he decided to address the issue of his album “The Carter V” being delayed. Weezy called it a “f*ked up situation” but let everyone in the audience know that it will be dropping soon. Wayne’s manager Cortez stated that everything was ok between him and Cash Money, but TMZ just learned that he was being sarcastic when he said that. So it’s clear that the Cash Money era is over. Or can it be saved? What do you think? Watch the clip below!

(Video) According To His Manager, Everything Between Lil Wayne & Cash Money Is A-Okay!

Yesterday [Thurs., Dec. 4], Lil Wayne took his feelings to Twitter to go OFF on Baby and Cash Money as a whole. According to Weezy, he and his creativity are both prisoners of the label. The delay in ‘Tha Carter V’ has lasted longer than expected, and well, he’s clearly over it. Moving on, if you can remember in Yo Gotti’s “Errbody” remix Lil Wayne claims, “I ain’t got Instagram,” but he may be taking his latest stunt to the ‘Gram. The “Only” emcee posts a photo of himself with the caption, “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.” This being similar to what was tweeted. Now, after being seen leaving the Penthouse, Tunechi’s manager Cortez Bryant told TMZ that everything is pretty much two-thumbs up. Wayne is, “good,” he says. Why are we suppose to believe Cortez? “I wouldn’t be in the club. Don’t you see me smiling,” he says. I’ll take that to mean, when Cortez is caught with an upside down frown or if he doesn’t make frequent visits to parties, Lil Wayne and Cash Money have fallen off. Only time – or Mack Maine’s Twitter account – will tell what’s going on with the YMCMB crew. Check out the jump for more.

Lil Wayne’s Manager Claims That Jas Prince Chased Him With A Gun…Because Of Drake?!

Christina Milian’s former fiancé is really making an attempt to run down on folk for extra cash. I mean, extra green is always a good thing, but when you have to use a deadly weapon to obtain it, it’s probably not for you. Earlier this year, Jas filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Cash Money and Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant. The producer is claiming that he discovered Drake and then signed him to his label Aspire Music Group, however Cash Money approached him willing to pay 22% of Drake’s advances if the rapper were to switch teams. Now, another deposition document is stating that Mr. Jas is a gun-toting bad guy looking to gain additional funds. Damn boy, Drake is making ends. You mean to tell me that your 22% ain’t paying the rent? Hit the jump for more details.
