A few days ago we reported that a Carnival cruise ship has been stranded near Mexico without power. What was supposed to be a vacation has become a living nightmare for the thousands of passengers stuck on board. Two Fishermen Dead After Cruise Ship Ignores Distress Call
This is awful! Three fishermen were out on the sea when something went wrong with their boat. A nearby Carnival cruise ship was passing the men when passengers aboard noticed they needed help. The passengers alerted the crew but the ships captain and crew decided to ignore the distressed men. Two of the fishermen, ages 24 and 16, died of died of dehydration, sunburn and heat stroke. 18-year-old Adrian Vasquez was found alive after being left adrift for 26 days due to the ignored call.
