Candice Glover Reacts To Winning ‘American Idol’
Last night Candice Glover was crowned as the winner of this season’s “American Idol.” Having tried out for “Idol” two times previously to get accepted, Candice was clearly in shock when Ryan Seacrest read her name as the winner, so much so that even in an after show statement, she was still at a loss for words. Nicki Minaj was a huge fan of Candice and so was Drake, who surprised the then contestant after she sang his “Find Your Love.” Not only did Candice get co-signed by Nicki and Drake, but she also performed with Jennifer Hudson and Aretha Franklin. Last night while scrolling through my Instagram timeline, I noticed that Drake was on “American Idol.” Since I don’t watch the show, I figured he was a guest mentor or performing but it turns out he was surprising a finalist which is so dope!
