The “Call Me Maybe” singer, Carly Rae Jepsen as well as pop/rock group, Train have decided to pull themselves from a show that was SUPPOSE to be given at the National Scout Jamboree in Mount Hope, West Virginia in July. Since the booking, Jepsen has took to her twitter to express her feelings on why she will not be at the show stating, “I always have and will continue to support the LGBT community on a global level …” Train too, has decided to drop from the show saying that they will rejoin if the Boy Scouts of America changes their anti-gay laws. In all honesty, this is something I don’t think anyone should be forcing on a group like the Boy Scouts to conform to. This is an elite group. According to Train, they didn’t know about the rules of Boy Scouts, but come on…they have never allowed openly gay members in, so they need to stop acting brand new. There were a few people getting a little excited at the fact that this show MIGHT have been cancelled. Sorry to hurt your feelings (&& my own), but the show is still on. An Oxygen rep told All Hip-Hop that the show being cancelled is FALSE. “This rumor is simply untrue. The project remains in early development,” the rep says. It’s set to premiere in the Spring. In recent days, Katt Williams was arrested for battery in Oakland, CA. A video has surfaced with the funny man threatening to cancel his how in Oakland, because of the arrest. Despite the cancellation of the NYC marathon that was supposed to take place today, hundreds of runners still run the marathon. Of course it wasn’t an official one, but they still ran. It was cancelled because of tragic aftermath of Sandy. Some were disappointed at the cancellation and blame the media for the negative publicity.
