Yesterday Canada honored Drake at their walk of fame. Drake was presented with the Allan Slaight Award. The award is presented to a young Canadian who has mad an impact in the world of arts, sports, or philanthropy. Auto Talk: Canadians May Soon Be Able To Buy Used Cars From Mexico
Canada is opening its used car market to vehicles from Mexico to fulfill the obligations of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). While vehicles 15 years old or older can already be imported to Canada, this move concerns late-model used vehicles. The only other country Canada accepts used vehicles under 15 years old from is the United States, and NAFTA stipulates that Canada should have already completed this bit of border opening by the end of 2010. The Fast and the Furious, Canada edition! Police in British Columbia say they impounded $2 million worth of high-end vehicles this week after witnesses reported the 13 cars racing on a metro Vancouver highway at speeds of 125 mph.
