Angelina Jolie says she owes a lot to Cambodia. “Lara Croft Tomb Raider” which was partially filmed in Cambodia’s Angkor Wat Temple Complex in 2001 was the film that Jump Started Jolie’s career. In 2002 , one year later she returned to Cambodia to adopt son Moddox. Jolie admits she feels a deep connection to Cambodia and decided to contribute with a film. In November it will be a Netflix project, as an adaptation of “First they Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers,” author Loung Ung’s memoir of her childhood during the Khmer Rouge regime.
