Washington Monument Has Severe Cracking, Could Cost $7.5 Million To Fix!
Back in August when an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 rocked the Washington D.C. area. The earthquake left severe cracks in the Washington Monument forcing it to be shut down to visitors. The visible cracks and loose stones make the 555 foot monument very vulnerable especially to rain and snow fall. The damage is going to take an estimated $7 million to fix. Read more after the jump.
