A disappointing season for the Washington Nationals took an ugly turn on Sunday when closer Jonathan Papelbon attacked MVP candidate Bryce Harper in the dugout during the eighth inning of their game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Washington Nationals star outfielder Bryce Harper missed two games after dealing with a troublesome ingrown toenail. Harper had a minor procedure on Friday to remove it and is on medication for the infection it caused. I guess everyone was bothering Harper about how something so small as an ingrown toenail could keep him out of the game so he was kind enough to twitpic it. Check it out after the jump.

Sabrina B. Bryce Harper, one of baseball’s brightest young talents, isn’t afraid to flaunt a little of his wealth at age 19. The center fielder, who signed a seven-year contract worth $9.9 million in 2010, had a picture of his car taken Tuesday by The Nats Blog.
