Bruno Mars debuts on the Billboard 200 at number 2 this week, as 24K Magic sold a very solid 231k units. His previous effort, 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, also debuted at number 2, though it was lower sales at 192k. Elsewhere in the top 10, last week’s number one, A Tribe Called Quest‘s We Got it From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, lands at number 5 with another 59k. Rae Sremmurd‘s SremmLife2 also remains in the top 10, thanks to “Black Beatles.” Check out this week’s full top 10 below.
Bruno Mars announced his 24 Magic World Tour just last week, with tickets going on sale this past Monday. Looks like his performance at the AMAs and his 60 Minutes interview really got people going, as the tour sold a massive one MILLION tickets in the first day alone!

Poor Bruno Mars can’t even be let alone in peace with his Grammy-winning hit song. A female rap group called The Sequence are claiming that Bruno was inspired by their song “Funk You Up” which was big back in 1979. The group – which consists of Angie Stone, Cheryl the Pearl and Blondy – have yet to actually file a lawsuit, but there has been a lot of talk on the street that they are planning to do so. Funny how Bruno JUST won a Grammy for a song and now people want to sue…. smh. Listen to both songs below and let us know if the ladies have a valid point or not.
