NBA: Lionel Hollins on the Nets: “We have established an identity: We don’t make shots”

Brooklyn Nets head coach Lionel Hollins is not shy or reserved when it comes to ripping his team.  He’s been pretty hard on Brook Lopez for being “soft”, Mason Plumlee for his jump shots and others as the team continues to struggle.  When asked about the team’s identity, he didn’t sugarcoat it at all.

(Video) NBA: Kevin Garnett Ejected After Scuffle With Dwight Howard At Tonight’s Game

Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard got tangled up after a play and it turned ugly with KG headbutting Howard and they two had to be separated by referees and their teammates. Hit the jump for details. Via Complex Sports:

Kobe Bryant. Kevin Durant. Now, Kevin Garnett. The NBA regular season hasn’t even hit the halfway point and Garnett has become the third player to get into it with Dwight Howard. Nearly midway through the first quarter of tonight’s game between the Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets, KG and Howard got tangled up a little bit. It seemed like a harmless foul, but things escalated pretty quickly. A push by Garnett turned into a retaliation shot by Howard and then things got out of hand. KG sealed his fate for the rest of the night by throwing the ball at DH and delivering a headbutt right to the dome.

NBA: Gerald Wallace Says Nets 2013 Trade Was a “Get-Rich-Quick Scheme” That Backfired

The Brooklyn Nets went all out in 2013 in an attempt to win an NBA championship but unfortunately for them, their efforts failed.  Among those moves was the blockbuster trade that sent Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry to the Nets in exchange for Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, Keith Bogans, Kris Joseph, MarShon Brooks and three future first-round picks to the Boston Celtics.  Looking back on the trade, Wallace wasn’t shy in expressing his feelings.

(Photo) NBA: LMAO Nets Have Perfect Response to Why They Don’t Have Tinder Night Like Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks were previously having trouble with fan attendance so they’ve done several different promotions to entice people to come to the games.  One promotion they held was “Swipe Right Night” sponsored by Tinder.  If you don’t know, Tinder is a “dating” app (really used for people to hookup) where it tells you what other Tinder users are in your vicinity and if you like their picture you can “swipe right” to try to create a match.  If both parties agree to a match based on the most superficial of qualities, well then you take it from there, but we know what happens next.  Anyways a Twitter user asked the Brooklyn Nets why they didn’t host a Tinder night as well and they had the perfect response.
