Dwight Howard’s departure from the Orlando Magic was anything but amicable. In fact the whole thing turned into a media circus with Howard as the ringleader.

Things got heated last night literally as Lebron James tried to lead his team to comeback against the Brooklyn Nets. Lebron was driving to the basket when Mirza Teletovic wrapped his arms around James neck trying to prevent him from scoring. Lebron was angry with the move and a small altercation ensued.
Paul Pierce and the 12-21 Brooklyn Nets have not yet enjoyed the success this season that they hoped for, but Pierce did set an impressive personal milestone as the team took on the Cleveland Cavaliers. In fact in his past five games, Pierce is averaging 15.8 points on 42.6 percent shooting. He has played very well since being moved from the 3-spot to the four.
David West had heard this type heckling, a last resort from fans of opposing teams who understand their team has lost. Last week in Brooklyn — after the Pacers resoundingly beat the Nets, 103-86 — West responded to those hecklers with a reference to Billy King and the construction of a $190 million struggling team: “Blame the GM,” West wrote on Twitter.
The Brooklyn Nets have been struggling with injuries since the preseason and with their playoff hopes as well as head coach Jason Kidd’s job on the line, they need everyone back in the lineup.
The hopes were high for the Brooklyn Nets when they added Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko to their squad that included Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez. Things however haven’t gone as planned with Lopez fracturing his foot and being ruled out for the rest of the season, Deron has battled ankle injuries, Pierce a hand fracture, Kirilenko doesn’t have a timetable to return from his injuries and the rest of the team hasn’t been playing well either. That’s quite a lot to deal with for a first year head coach and it might just be a wrap for Jason Kidd.
