Louis Farrakhan Speaks On Jay Electronica & Jay Z’s BK Hip Hop Fest Appearance In Open Letter

Minister Louis Farrakhan has written an open letter to the followers of Islam, recognizing and honoring those that stood on stage beside Jay Electronica and Jay Z during Brooklyn’s Hip Hop Fest. Farrakhan has stated that he is very proud of ‘Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) and the Believers who stood with Brother Jay Electronica’ even amongst the criticism Electronica received for using profanity. The 9th annual three-day long Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival hosted by Brooklyn Bodega came to an end today after countless legendary rappers hit the stage such as Redman and Pusha-T, amongst others. Pusha T, Redman & More To Perform At Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival

On Thursday the twitter account for the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival announced that Pusha T, Redman, EPMD, & Push among many others will be performing. In the past acts such as Busta Rhymes, and Kanye West have performed there just to name a few, Dizzy Wright will also be included in this years lineup. The three day festival is now entering it’s ninth year and looks to build on their past successes. The people that go to the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival don’t look at it as a concert, or an outdoor event, but more like a family reunion for all hip hop lovers. The festival includes performances, Q&A sessions, pannel discussions, exhibitions, parties, an award show takes place, and a family friendly block party to tie it all together.
