Last year, A record 601,055 people were stopped and questioned by the NYPD. Yesterday, hundreds of NYC teens fought back by marching across the Brooklyn Bridge to protest against the NYPD’S stop & frisk policy. Yesterday the NYPD arrest 700 protestors on the Brooklyn Bridge. The protestors are part of the Occupy Wall Street Protest that has been going on for two weeks now. The Occupy Wall Street protest is to fight for injustices including student loans, the foreclosure crisis, work place discrimination, and more. Protestors said that they plan on staying in the park until they feel the injustices are resolved. Read more after the jump. @Julie1205
