Police have identified the suspect they have been looking for since February 26 to be an 11 year old boy. The boy has been arrested and charged with grand larceny. Surveillance footage from inside the bus show him snatching a 53 year old woman’s purse and running off just as the bus doors were opening.
Two NYPD Officers Shot In The Bronx
On Thursday Night, two NYPD officers were shot while at a complex in the Bronx. The police were doing an investigation in the Bronx when one of the cops was shot in the face and the other in the torso. The cops got into the altercation with the shooters in the stair case of the complex.
Cops Rescue Runaway Teen From BackPage Prostitues In Bronx
Cops have rescued an upstate runaway teen who nearly ended up being forced into Prostitution in the housing complex of castle hills in the Bronx. A 22 year old man along with 4 female teens forced the runaway into posing and taking provocative pictures. A Bronx father is being charged with murder after his daughter was found dead from strangulation and head trauma in his apartment. Anddrea Caruth was considered a missing person after her boyfriend filed a missing person’s report on her earlier in the week. Caruth’s father, whom she shared her home with, and her boyfriend, who was the last person to see her alive, were both people of interest in the missing persons case up until she was found in the basement apartment of her home where her father lives. Her body was discovered in a closet partially covered in gravel after authorities followed a deadly smell that began to consume the home. Sources tell NY Daily News that Caruth and her father, 61-year-old William Caruth, had an argument about her choice to take out a second mortgage on the home they shared which may have led to this murder. Caruth was a daycare operator and expecting her own child very soon.
How The Homeless Stole Christmas In The Bronx
Aint no Chrismas Bihhh.. The annual tree lighting that takes place at Ciccarone Park in the Bronx has been canceled due to the behavior of the homeless people surrounding the area. They have been harassing by-passers for money, urinating in the streets, and just causing people to not even wanna go near the park. They ruined the tradition this year and some are not happy about it.
